Foundation
Buyers, investors and boards had begun pricing sustainability performance rather than asking about it. Cappi launched into that shift for one reason: the party who can prove its numbers sets its own price.
One proven data spine, four commercial directions, one engine. Data entered once answers whichever market asks, so proof built in one place travels intact to the next. Each new demand becomes another answer from the same record rather than another product to buy, which puts no ceiling on what that record is worth.
Three C's hold this company together. Holds the commercial sense, the market positioning and the discipline of building a company that grows organically, on its own revenue and its own power.
Director of Science at TNO Energy and Materials Transition and Professor at Utrecht University and the University of Groningen. Reviews Cappi's methodology against the scientific literature, so that it holds when an independent verifier and the parties on the other side of a transaction examine it.
Holds the impact case that commercial advantage and measurable environmental outcome are the same argument when the data is actual.
Trust
They are asked in every serious conversation, so they are answered here rather than on request.
Hosted on AWS with EU residency, tenant isolation and a full audit trail. Ownership does not transfer to Cappi. Anonymised use is governed by an explicit clause you can read before you sign, and you can export your data at any time.
Every evidence pack is exportable in open formats at any moment, not on exit and not on request. Continuity does not depend on Cappi still being your supplier, or on Cappi at all.
Reports are produced by deterministic templating from the proven record, never generated freshly at the moment of export. The same inputs return the same outputs on any day, to any reader. That is the difference between a number a verifier accepts and a number that merely reads well.

Cappi publishes what it sees moving in the market before it becomes a rule.
Evidence records and reports built from one proven dataset: embedded emissions for CBAM, carbon intensity per batch for fuels and feedstocks, corporate disclosures, and product footprints. Each is audit-ready and buyer-ready in a single document, so the same file answers the authority and the customer.
Exporters and importers exposed to CBAM, traders and suppliers of low-carbon fuels and feedstocks, corporates reporting under ESRS, VSME, GRI or ISSB, and manufacturers preparing product footprints and passports. In every case the buyer is commercial rather than compliance.

You take it with you. Evidence packs export in open formats at any moment, including after the engagement ends. Nothing you have proven becomes unusable because a subscription lapsed.
