The Opportunity

We’re seeking a (New Business) Sales Executive with 5+ years of B2B sales experience and native-level Dutch proficiency to join our commercial team. This is a high-impact role for a motivated professional who thrives on opening new opportunities, leading impactful demos, and closing strategic deals.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Proactively identify, engage, and secure new customers in target sectors.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads through outreach, research, referrals, and networking.
  • Deliver engaging demos and tailored presentations that clearly showcase Cappi’s value.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting → demos → proposals → negotiation → close.
  • Consistently exceed growth goals, including demo targets, lead generation, and revenue objectives.

 

Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Partner with the marketing team to align campaigns and maximise lead generation.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve our go-to-market execution.
  • Share customer insights and market trends with leadership to refine strategy.
  • Represent Cappi at industry events, forums, and networking opportunities.

 

Sales Process & Performance

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts.
  • Ensure 3–4x pipeline coverage relative to quarterly revenue targets.
  • Conduct weekly sales reviews and provide insights to the leadership team.
  • Focus on demo-to-close conversion rates as a key measure of success.

Reporting

  • You report directly to the Sales Director
  • You have weekly update with the Chief Value Officer to ensure that Sales actions are aligned with Cappi’s strategic growth and market expansion

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Technology
  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally in selling software or digital solutions
  • Passionate about sustainability, business purpose, and impacts
  • Native-level Dutch and fluent English.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and closing new business
  • Exceptional skills in presentation, demo, and negotiation
  • Strong experience in tech, AI, SaaS, or sustainability.
  • Commercially minded, results-driven, and energised by a fast-paced growth environment.
